The Boeing B-52 Stratobomber, was introduced in 1955 and is long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber operated by the United States Air Force and is capable of carrying up to 70,000 pounds of weapons, and has a typical combat range of around 8,800 miles without aerial refueling. It carries a crew of 5 consisting of an aircraft commander, pilot, radar navigator, navigator and electronic warfare officer.
